Fall into the Friends of the Northborough Library Annual Children’s Book & Media Sale. The sale will begin Wednesday, October 28th and run until Sat, October 31st. Book Sale hours are Wednesday 3:00PM-8:00PM, Thursday and Friday 9:30AM-5:00PM, and Saturday (Bargain Day) 9:30AM-3:00PM (the Bag sale starts at 2PM). The sale is located in the Children's Craft Room at the Northborough Library, 34 Main Street.

We will have a wide range of children’s books available. Picture books, board books, first reader and intermediate reader books will be available. We will also have children's audiobooks, DVDs, and computer software. It's a great resource for teachers, daycares, and parents. We hope you will stop by! 

Donations of books and media are greatly appreciated. Please drop off inside the library in the front conference room.

applefestThe Friends of the Northborough Library are having an Applefest Sidewalk Book Sale! We will have an excellent selection of fiction and non-fiction, adult and children's books. Please visit our sale while you enjoy the town-wide festival!

The sale is Saturday, September 19th, from 9:30 AM- 3 PM, on the sidewalk in front of the library at 34 Main Street. (In the event of bad weather, the sale will be held inside the library.)

Of course, we are now accepting donations of gently used books and media items at the library. Please no magazines, Reader's Digest condensed books, encyclopedia sets, or books in poor condition. Please bring them to the library anytime during open hours -- please do not leave the books outside the library or in the book drops. (Feel free to visit our on-going sale shelves every day at the library.)

We also need volunteers to set up and work the Book Sale. We need volunteers to work in 1-2 hour shifts from 8 AM until 4 PM on the day of Applefest (rain or shine) To help out, please contact Ellen Church at Friendsoflibrary@northboroughlibrary.org.
