Super Book Sale

Super Book Sale  will occur at the Northborough Free Library on Friday, February 2, 2018 from noon-5PM and Saturday, February 3, from 9:30AM – 4 PM.  The date is easy to remember because it is Super Bowl weekend! 

Our Super Book Sale will feature books, audiobooks, DVDs and CDs for kids, adults and teens.  Books for sale will include fiction and non-fiction in both softcover and hardcover.  Prices will range from 50¢ - $1.  Proceeds from the sale will benefit Northborough Library programs, museum passes, and other items not covered by the standard budget.  The book sale is sponsored by the Friends of the Northborough Library.  


2018 Annual big Big BIG Book Sale 

The Friends of the Northborough Library is holding our 2018 Annual big Big BIG Book Sale at the library at 34 Main Street in Northborough. We have an excellent selection of fiction and non-fiction, hardcovers and paperbacks, children’s books, CDs, DVDs, videos, and audiobooks. Books will be 50 cents - $1. As always we’ll have some extra-special books for higher prices, but we will have over 10,000 books priced at $1 or less!  New this year, we will be open to the public on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 4-8PM.

The sale will begin on Wednesday, March 28th and run until Saturday, March 31st.  Wednesday hours are 4-8PM. On Thursday and Friday, the sale runs 9:30 AM-5 PM, like the library, and on Saturday, we will be open 9:30 AM-4 PM with the Bag Sale from 3-4PM. The Member Preview will be on Wednesday, March 28th, from noon PM-4PM. Membership forms will be available at the library; current and paid up membership in the Friends of the Northborough Library is required to attend the Member Preview. We are now accepting donations of gently used books and media items at the Northborough Free Library. We accept hardcovers and paperbacks; children's and adults' books; fiction and non-fiction; old and new; obscure and bestsellers! We also accept DVDs, music CDs, video games and audiobooks. Please bring them to the library during the open hours only. Please no magazines, Reader’s Digest condensed books, encyclopedia sets, or books in poor condition. Please do not leave the books outside the library or in the book drop!
