Teens Take the Lead is a program organized by the Teen Services Department to showcase the talents and support the passions of the teens in our community, grades 6-12.  This program is designed to assist:

  • Individuals or small groups of teens looking to share their skills and interests by teaching a program for other teen library patrons.
  • Teens wanting to coordinate/direct a service project using the resources of the library.

A timely, fully completed application is required to be considered for inclusion in the Teens Take the Lead program.  Questions about the application process can be directed to the Teen Librarian by emailing bkrantz@cwmars.org.  If your application is selected it is essential that all deadlines are met and clear communication with the Teen Librarian is maintained throughout the process.

Examples of past or existing teen run programs:

  • Dungeons & Dragons for Beginners and Beyond
  • Trigonometry for Beginners
  • Go Green Sustainability for Young Minds
  • Mind Tricks: Neurological Science Magic Show
